The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences peer advisors cordially invite you to join us for lunch and an informal discussion on topics of interest. This event is intended to bring together our community and share a meal while learning from one another. BYOL (bring your own lunch) and come ready to enjoy the company of your peers and the joy of learning without all the pressure of the classroom.

This event is open to all, so bring a friend!

First topic on March 30th: Pathways to Success Mixer

● Come discuss internship, study abroad, and job experiences (students, staff, and faculty alike). What went well? What did you learn? What would you change? What helped you get the job? What obstacles did you face? Is there something you would have done differently? What distinguished you from the others?
● Bring your resume! We can compare language and format. Do other people perceive your resume the same way you do? Are there better ways to get your ideas across?

Second topic on April 13th: Big Ideas from your Favorite Speech or TED Talk

● Examples could be:
