"What fools these mortals be". Ames High Drama is proud to present William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Journey with us from the rigid court of Athens into a moonlit forest where fairies weave their potent magic. In this whimsical and enduring tale, four frantic lovers, a bumbling troupe of aspiring actors, and a powerful Fairy King and Queen locked in a battle of wills all collide on the day of the Athenian King and Queen’s Wedding. Watch as love potions, mistaken identities, and mischievous sprites transform devotion into delightful chaos. Come see this enchanting comedy November 7th and 8th at 7 pm and November 9th at 2pm at the Ames High School Wayne “Hank” Hansen Performing Arts Center.
