The SLOM team wrapped up competition Friday with their Spontaneous performance and emerged to a celebration! The kids spent a lot of time yesterday afterwards swimming, pin trading, watching other performances and checking out the festivities around ISU campus!

Thursday was another fantastic day at Iowa State for the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals! The team was fantastic in their long problem performance for “Life is a Circus” and really impressed the judges! The team was also all-in throughout the day meeting competitors from other states and counties during pin trading. They’ll compete Friday afternoon in their Spontaneous portion

A great first night in Ames, Iowa for the Opening Ceremonies of the World Finals for Odyssey of the Mind! Teams from around the country, as well as South Korea, Switzerland and Poland made the trip to join in person this year. Thursday afternoon, our team will perform their long-term problem in the first day of competition!
