Our Valentine's Dance was a huge success thanks to the band, instructors, and all of YOU for showing up!

Hi everyone! Saturday, March 8th is this semester's Glow in the Dark Dance! We will be in the Memorial Union Sun Room from 6-10 pm, with a free lesson starting at 6:15. The cost is $5 at the door, but free for CSS members. We recommend wearing bright or neon attire so you can glow under the blacklights!

Spring 2024 dance schedule! All of our dances will be in Memorial Union at Iowa State University. More details to follow.

Our first dance of the semester, the Valentine’s Day Dance, will be in the Great Hall at Memorial Union. $5 for members, $10 for non-members. We’ll have a free beginner lesson at the beginning of the dance for anyone new to swing dancing! No partner or experience required. Indigo Monks will be playing for us, so this promises to be a fun evening.

Our winter wonderland dance is fast approaching, so mark your calendars. December 2nd we will be in the Sunroom at 6pm, there will be a free lesson at 6:30 and music will start at 7pm. It will be free for members, and $5 for non-members.

Yesterday was great it was an amazing experience I know we all won't forget soon. We need to thank our incredible instructor, Sheven, for sharing his knowledge with us and coming here all the way from Texas! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who attended; if you enjoyed this event, we have another dance only two weeks away!

We’re so excited to have Sheven Kekoolani teaching the workshops at our West Coast Swing event this weekend!!

The event will be this Saturday, September 30th in Memorial Union at Iowa State University. There will be a free beginner lesson 10:30-11:30am in Room 3560 to freshen up on your basics. The workshops are 1-4:30pm (also in Room 3560). Then later that same night we’ll have a dance in the Great Hall from 6-8:30pm.

Dance + Workshops: $30 for non-members, $20 for members.
Dance only: $10.
Pay at the door.

We were so happy to see everyone at the Sock Hop this last weekend!

We’ve got another fun event coming up in less than two week. Cardinal Swing Society will be hosting a west coast swing dancing workshop on September 30th! We are so excited to have Sheven Kekoolani as our guest instructor.

The event will consist of three, 1-hour workshops in the afternoon and a dance in the evening. The event will be held at Memorial Union at Iowa State University in Ames.

Our Sock Hop dance is coming up this weekend on Saturday, September 16th from 6 to 9pm in the Memorial Union Sunroom!!
