We join the HAU community in remembering a remarkable educator who guided and inspired us during our high school years. Her commitment to service and her passion for teaching touched so many lives.

The HAU Community mourns the passing of Ms. Purita Sison, who served as High School Principal from 1991 to 2001 and devoted 45 years of exemplary service to Holy Angel University as a teacher and administrator. A recipient of the HAU Order of St. Raphael the Archangel (2011), Ms. Sison will always be remembered for her dedication, leadership, and love for her students and colleagues.

Her remains lie in state at the Angeleños Memorial Chapel (in front of La Pieta).
May she rest in God’s eternal peace. 🕊️

On October 24, 2025, Leopoldo Jaime N. Valdes will be installed as the 10th University President of Holy Angel University. Heads of schools, government and Church officials, business and industry leaders, and representatives of socio-civic organizations join members of the HAU community at the University Theatre to witness the extraordinary ceremonies.

Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May she rest in peace. Amen. 🙏🏼

Rest in Peace, Pope Francis.

Pope Francis died on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the age of 88 at his residence in the Vatican's Casa Santa Marta. Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio on December 17, 1936, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he was the first pope from the Western Hemisphere and the first from the Jesuit order. Elected in 2013, Pope Francis was known for his humility, dedication to social justice, and efforts to address climate change.
May his legacy of compassion and faith continue to guide and inspire us all.
