Kinda chic to turn your personal journey into your life’s work.
As the mom of two children with dyslexia, I know firsthand how much knowledgeable teachers matter.
That’s why I now spend my days working with educators and training dyslexia specialists and therapists, so more children receive the evidence-based instruction, services, and support they deserve.
If you believe every child deserves a highly trained teacher, welcome. You’re in the right place.
What inspired you to do the work you do?

Kinda chic to believe that changing teacher knowledge changes student outcomes.

Doesn’t that make sense? When assessing alphabet knowledge, I often find that students place the letter u behind the letter q. They’ve heard teachers say that “q” and “u” are always together...except in the sequence of the alphabet.
Happy back to school week to all my educator friends!

One of the greatest instructional tools you’ll ever have isn’t a curriculum, program, or assessment, it’s a relationship.
Students learn best when they feel safe, known, and valued. Taking a few minutes to ask about their soccer game, remember their favorite animal, laugh together, or celebrate a small success can make all the difference. Students who trust you are more willing to take risks, make mistakes, and persevere through challenging tasks. Strong relationships create the foundation for meaningful learning and lasting growth. Connection comes before correction. Relationships don’t replace high expectations, they make them possible. ❤️

Let’s Alphabet! 🔤
The alphabet component is about more than saying the ABCs. We build automaticity with letter names and sequence, creating the foundation for skills maintenance, alphabetizing, and using dictionaries and other alphabetically arranged reference materials. Strong literacy starts with strong foundations.

What’s the ROI of Dyslexia Services?
When people ask about the cost of dyslexia services, I think we should also ask about the return on the investment.
Every investment in early identification, evidence-based intervention, and highly trained dyslexia educators has the potential to change a student’s life. The return isn’t just measured in reading scores.
It’s measured in:
📚 Students who become confident readers.
🎓 Greater access to academic success.
💪 Increased independence.
❤️ Improved confidence and self-esteem.
🚪 More opportunities for college, careers, and life.
The cost of dyslexia services is easy to calculate.
The value of a child who learns to read, gains confidence, and discovers their potential is immeasurable.
Dyslexia services aren’t simply an educational expense.
They’re one of the most important investments we can make in a student’s future.
