Review Meeting held today .

Today, the faculty members and students of the institute attended the Workshop on “Human-Wildlife Conflict”–cum–Legal Awareness Programme, organized by the Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) in collaboration with the Department of Forest & Wildlife, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), at D.K. Convention Hall, Itanagar.

The programme began with the screening of the NALSA theme song “Ek Mutthi Aasman”, the APSLSA theme song “Arunachal Tum Bharat Ko Jagate Ho”, followed by the Sankalp Geet and Lokpal of India.

The welcome address was delivered by Shri Yomge Ado, Member Secretary, APSLSA. The keynote address was delivered by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Kumar Medhi, Judge of the Gauhati High Court and Executive Chairman, APSLSA. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Smt. Mary Kamsi , Secretary , District Legal Services Authority , Papum Pare District.
The resource persons enlightened the participants on the topic of human-wildlife conflict. The workshop was highly meaningful and informative, highlighting the importance of environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and various legal provisions related to the subject.

UCO Bank , Itanagar Branch Chief Manager Mr. Subodha Dash and his colleagues highlighted the importance of observing this day. To mark the occasion, an oath-taking ceremony on vigilance and an essay competition were organized, sponsored by UCO Bank, Itanagar.
