What a day for the 9th Annual Bishop Guilfoyle Golf Outing!
We are incredibly grateful to all of our sponsors who helped make this year’s outing such a success. The support we received this year was truly outstanding, and we cannot thank our businesses, families and friends enough for continuing to show up for BG and our students.
A huge thank you as well to our committee members and Boosters for the time, planning and hard work that went into making the day possible.
And an extra special thank you to our volunteers. You showed up early, stayed late, jumped in wherever you were needed and helped keep everything running smoothly from start to finish. Some of you have long-standing ties to BG, while others simply gave your time to help make the day a success — and that means so much to us.
We truly could not do this without you.
We ended the evening with our first Marauder Nation Mix & Mingle, and it was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible day — great food, lots of laughs and so many familiar faces together in one place.

Bishop Guilfoyle Academy is an independent, private, Catholic school serving students from preschool through 12th grade. 🎉 Congratulations to Ty Halerz on being selected for the 2026 Appalachian STEM Academy at Oak Ridge National Laboratory!
We are incredibly proud to recognize Ty Halerz for being selected to attend the 2026 Appalachian STEM Academy at Oak Ridge—an all-expenses-paid, highly competitive residential STEM program that welcomed just 42 students from 13 states this summer.
Selected from thousands of applicants, Ty spent two weeks at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, working alongside leading researchers—including NASA scientists—on real-world STEM projects. His team conducted research in the Nuclear Energy and Fuel Cycle Division, an experience that aligns perfectly with his goal of pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Ty is the first Bishop Guilfoyle Academy student ever selected to participate in this prestigious program.
Your hard work, curiosity, and passion for STEM have earned you an incredible opportunity. We are proud of all you've accomplished and grateful for the way you've represented Bishop Guilfoyle Academy. We can't wait to see where your future takes you!
