Saw this on the Barnstead Community Page but it won’t let be share so I am copy and pasting here:

Last nights Prospect JMA School Board meeting - Stay involved folks. If you can’t make it in person then watch the video back or watch it live. Here is my take on one of the topics …

20 Minutes + talking about grass and fields (didn’t we just have to work on filling 40+ positions ? I guess I’ll save that for another post)

28 minute mark the conversation starts about not letting the soccer teams, use the soccer fields … for (yes you guessed it) Soccer. Varsity coach has been trying to practice on the game field for home field advantage. DENIED (Thank you Mr Broadrick)

Broadrick “Fields were repairs this summer” FACT CHECK ✅ Sod was installed August 23 according to Sumner Landscaping. While yes, that is still “summer”, NHIAA allowed participation to start back up with tryouts August 21.

Chairperson Henry “my daughter is on the varsity team and the girls don’t have an issue” That may be true, but is irrelevant to the above

Broadrick when questioned on why the sod was torn back up “because he (Sumner Landscaping) didn’t put enough water” ✅ FACT CHECK - new sod needs watering 3 times a day for approximately 3 weeks. According to Sumner Landscaping AND Gilford Well for years Prospect has been told they do not have the system to support that kind of a watering schedule. So why blame your landscaping company, Broadrick?

36 minute mark SB Member McLeod - “my son played varsity for 4 years and they practiced to get ready for games on the front field for years without the field being torn up”

🦗🦗🦗

School Board Member Ferruccio “I have received complaints the grass is too high for games and is almost at 5” can we try to get it closer to 2” for the players and coaches?”

While attempting to ignore SB member Ferruccio , Broadrick slides his notes back and forth with his ring leader Jason Henry to make sure they are aligned with their talking notes.

Tim Broadrick at the 39th minute “We can cut the grass any way you want it just tell us what you want” proceeds to then fold his arms in anger because he didn’t get his way.

Superintendent Broadrick works for the community and the school board. Not the other way around. The amount of disrespect he has for the school board members and thinking he can talk down to anyone, is not only embarrassing but is insubordinate to the board. All of this happens in just 20 minutes of talking about fields. Get the priorities straight!

My take on the SB members. I was appreciative that SB member Locke, McLeod and Ferruccio attempted to stand up for our kids and tried to make that stance against Broadrick and the chairperson.

My take on the Athletic Director, who now apparently has a seat at the school board table I commend him for attempting to do the right thing and give all of the information he has. I fear it won’t be long before he is silenced however by Broadrick and his crew for saying too much or giving too many details.

Stop passing blame Broadrick. You wanted to lead 3 schools so do it. You hired a district AD so let him run the sports. You hired a district facilities director, so stop blaming the landscaping company you also hired. It’s called follow up with the people you put in position. Nobody else is to blame.
