ADVANCED ROBOTICS STARTS THIS TUESDAY!

Ready to BUILD. CODE. DESIGN. COMPETE.

Innovus Innovation Center is launching its After-School Advanced Robotics Program this Tuesday!

Students will get hands-on experience designing, building, and programming competition robots while developing real-world skills in:

>Electronics & Control Systems
>FIRST Tech Challenge Competition

This isn't just about building a robot. Students can explore different technical specialties while learning professional tools and engineering processes used in STEM fields.

Health Science in Action @ the Innovus Microschool

At Innovus, Health Science is hands-on and connected to everyday life! This week, students explored protein and amino acids while learning how protein supports growth, muscles, repair, and overall health.

Students became nutrition detectives, using real food packages to read Nutrition Facts labels, compare different protein sources, identify how many grams of protein foods provide, and begin tracking their own protein intake throughout the week.

Older students also dug deeper into amino acids—the building blocks of protein—and the role they play in the body.

Through observation, discussion, label reading, and personal tracking, students aren’t simply memorizing nutrition facts—they’re learning how to use health information to make informed choices in the real world.

This is what STEM is supposed to be. This week, first- through fourth-grade students at the Innovus Microschool learned how to prepare and mount microscope slides as they explored the structure of plant cells. But they aren't learning science just to learn science—they are learning it because they need it to solve a real-world problem.
Using First Principles Thinking, Design Thinking, Scrum, and the Lean Startup method, our students are applying knowledge and skills across STEM disciplines to develop innovative solutions to address food insecurity.
This is learning with purpose. At Innovus, STEM is not about simply playing with the latest STEM toys or completing disconnected activities, it is about using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as tools to solve meaningful, real-world problems.
