What It means to be a DANE

Being a Denmark Dane means choosing to be part of something bigger than yourself. It means showing up when it’s hard, pushing through the miles, and trusting the work—even when no one is watching.

It’s discipline, resilience, and commitment. It’s celebrating your teammates’ victories as loudly as your own, picking each other up on the tough days, and understanding that every mile, every workout, and every challenge makes us stronger.

We run for the D on our chest, for our teammates beside us, for those who came before us, and for those who will come after us.

We train together. We compete together. We win together. We are Denmark XC.

What a way to kick off the season! We are SO proud of this young team. 💙

They are proof of what happens when you want something badly enough and are willing to put in the work—through the highs and lows, and all the challenges that come with building something special.

They stayed committed. They kept showing up. They trusted the process. And today, they showed what all that work can do.

The season is just getting started, and this team has something to prove.
