💃Alyx Forsting (The Designer) & Jackie Gill (The Model) participated in the 2nd Annual Fashion Show!
🏆Amelia Turk held a RedTalk workshop on Leadership! She and the chapter submitted this project as a National Programs Chapter Project.... they won 1st place with a prize of $500!

Thank you to Senator Patrick Testin for taking the time to meet with us and engage with our stories.

While I was at the state Capitol this week, I had the opportunity to meet with several members of the Wisconsin chapter of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) to hear more about the goals of their group.

The FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization for pupils enrolled in Family and Consumer Sciences education courses. The mission of the FCCLA is to help students develop lifelong skills involving character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge and career preparation.

I appreciate that these FCCLA members traveled all the way from Alma Center, Black River Falls and Nekoosa to provide me with an update on their recent projects. I am especially impressed with all the things they have done to benefit our local veteran organizations, domestic abuse shelters and foster care children.

Thank you for all that you do to make our communities a better place to live.

I had the opportunity to meet with members of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) from Alma Center and Black River Falls High Schools this week. It was wonderful to connect with these young leaders and learn more about their organization and the impactful service projects they are involved in!
