Happy Pi Day!!

March 14 is a Special Day (4 Special Events) 😯

A Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse, Pi Day, Albert Einstein's Birthday & Stephen Hawking's Death Anniversary

Today, we pay tribute to two iconic scientists, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, who left an indelible mark on human understanding.

Interestingly, both Einstein (1879-1955) and Hawking (1942-2018) shared a remarkable coincidence – they both lived to be 76 years old.

Their pioneering work continues to inspire researchers and scientists worldwide.

Einstein's theory of relativity and Hawking's groundbreaking research on black holes have become cornerstones of modern physics.

Today also marks a special occasion – the 37th anniversary of Pi Day.

This annual celebration was first introduced by physicist Larry Shaw in 1988 to commemorate the mathematical constant pi (π).

Pi Day has since become a beloved tradition, promoting appreciation for mathematics and science.

Today, we also observed a lunar eclipse with a Blood Moon.

How to Make a Compass
1. Place a 90 cm stick on the ground and put a small rock where the tip of the shadow falls.
2. Wait ten to fifteen minutes and place a second rock at the point where the tip of the shadow has also moved.
3. Draw a line between the two points. This is an east-west line.
4. Place the tip of your left foot on the first rock and the tip of your right foot on the second rock; now you will be facing north.

🧐Anywhere on Earth, the first shadow mark is west, and the second is east.
