Tuesday:
‘Wealth and children are adornment of this world’.
While It is okay to enjoy the blessings of adornment,
the real goal is to keep focus on purification of our heart and Amal Saleh.
- Kahf 18.28

- ⁠ like mentioned above, the adornment of the world cannot be taken as our goal. Some people feel a spiritual void, despite doing Namaz, fasting, Umrah Hajj .
- ⁠ the case is that their heart is filled with the ‘desire’ or deep love of dunya ( material and people ) and not actually the desire to purify themselves.

Wednesday :
Started reading the biography of prophet Muhammad (S).

Thursday:
Finished our discussion on envy, hate,contempt .
- Competition for material (wealth/ popularity/beauty ) is futile, and will never be fulfilled .
- ⁠We have been instructed to look at people below us and not above us.
- ⁠ we talk about slavery without chains, chasing material is amongst those.
- ⁠ focus on our goals and doing our best iA

Tuesday:
Pondering upon Surah Lahab
Pride over material things is of no definite gain.

Wednesday :
Why do we have to follow the pillars of Islam??
specially Salah/ Namaz
I explained this with the example how the universe runs in harmony.
Each planet rotates on their own axis ( in addition to their orbit with others) to gain enough energy so they do not get sucked up by other bodies, like the black hole, nor collide with others.
Namaz and pillars of Islam helps us keep generating enough energy to go about on our path.

Q. Sometimes someone will complain that they poured their heart out to a friend and after that the friend distanced themselves.
- What happens when we share a drink with a friend?
- ⁠ what happens when we spill the drink on someone?
- ⁠ The difference in two reactions is very similar when we spill out our emotions and worries on people.they are unable to take the burden, they may be surprised, taken aback, annoyed, etc.
Spill to those who can help:
- Allah is able to take the burden of our spilling 100%
- ⁠amongst the humans usually parents or siblings or a wise person can guide you

Allah mentions in the Quran to do deeds that are ‘Saleh’ ( Amal Saleh)
These are the deeds that join. Join with the creator, join us with other creation.
The opposite of this is Jurm, meaning to cut off . Mujrimeen, the people who commit crimes, the crime of cutting off people with nature, The Creator, or within people.

Extremely important discussion on staying afloat in our orbit .
Q. What is my orbit?
Q. What are the signs and symptoms of a collision course?
Q. The most predominant causes of collision?
Unhealthy competition vs recognizing my own abilities.
Striving for perfection vs excellence.
- if the planets do not rotate on their ‘own’ axis, meaning do not generate enough energy to stay afloat they will be sucked in by other’s energy.
- we discussed that ‘survival of the fittest’ kind of mentality was from Hitlers aspirations. according to his standards, the ones who could not meet a certain criteria were sent to the gas chambers.
- be careful not to send our own selves to the ( symbolic) ‘gas chambers’

Monday:
In the light of so many atrocities going on around us, (including the Allen outlet mall incident), we discussed that Islam is a way of life where Allah has put in ‘systems’ that protect us and the society from dysfunction.
Like, God has put in perfectly functioning ‘systems’ in our Universe, which get messed up by injudicious human intervention. These atrocities are a manifestation of the broken systems. ( Family, justice etc)

Deep discussion on Surah Kahf selected versus .
Q.What causes crookedness in speech and dealings?
Q. The people of the cave woke up from a long slumber and asked for food that was purest.
With so many choices around us, we must insist on consuming food that is purest . Halaal and Tayyab.
Eating pure food is directly proportional to good spiritual health as well. This keeps our soul strong, and iA safe from the many tricks of the Shaitan.
Q. Belief in Allah is directly proportional to increment in guidance.
