Ok. Thats all the cutting, some of the sewing and enough of a plan that I am ready for the weekend!!

Back to making progress on my Rob Appell hexagons!!! Up to my elbows in it!

Oh look! A bandwagon! Hopping onto the this year with the I love how this is coming together but then I am a sucker for a two color version quilt anyway.

Things look ugly when they are in progress. I think that applies to more than just applique now that I think about it.

Making good progress on my Lori Holt Applique project.

Great workshop with through the Plano guild. First one is my project. Second is the class sample. Third is I got to see and hug while I was there!!

Holy cow I made something. The last few weeks have been marked by a funk and knee problems but I wanted to get my April mini done and here it is!

And so it begins. I’ve wanted to work on this Applique quilt for ages but just couldn’t do it. This is block 1 and it’s almost done. It was a sew along on the Lori Holt blog a few years back. I’m so excited!

So thrilled to have been able to do the quilting and binding for the new sampler quilt that debuted at QuiltCon. I got to work with my bestie and it was just an amazing experience. So glad I don’t have to keep it secret anymore!!!!
