An IEP is an Individualized Education Plan. Key word "Individualized". We all hope that the schools are considering that language when doing assessments and evaluations to determine if a child qualifies. But in some cases, the recommendation just doesn't seem like its appropriate OR maybe your child needs a little more help than what's outlined. As a legal guardian, YOU are your child's advocate for their education....until they turn 18 that is 😄
