Grow In Truth - Weekly Study - The Road to CHANGE
The Charge to CHANGE 1 Timothy 6:11–21

STOP 1 — Verses 11–12 | Pursue
"…flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…" — 1 Timothy 6:11–12

STOP 3 — Verses 17–19 | Good Intentions
"Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate…" — 1 Timothy 6:17–18
Embrace: Trust the living God. Avoid: Trusting in uncertain riches. Hoarding.
Generosity is a mark of the man of God — but it's a mark you grow into. Not one you wake up with.
STOP 4 — Verses 20–21 | Commit to the Assignment
"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen." — 1 Timothy 6:20–21
Embrace: Guard the Word. Guard the faith. Guard the call. Avoid: Wandering from the faith.
