Ujima (formerly Black Student Union) strives to "work collectively and responsibly."
Ujima is dedicated to enriching the environment in which all students live and learn at Alfred State College. The union attempts to achieve this by sponsoring a variety of activities that have an academic, social, or cultural focus. It is an organization that also promotes multicultural awareness of all peoples of African descent represented in the African Diaspora through its programming and welcomes membership of any Alfred State student.

Ujima hosted it's Annual Charity Fashion where all proceeds went to Make-A-Wish Foundation. These pictures are also on Ujima's group page.
Elections are tomorrow (5/8/13) at 7 pm in Braddon Lounge. All positions are open, and we are always looking for motivated individuals with fresh ideas. Hope to see you there!
