Congratulations to Alfred State’s B.S. class of 2026!

On Thursday two sets of students presented their STAR Center projects to their clients. Lauren Neu and Riley McCarthy presented their new office proposal for the Steuben County Soil and Water District in Bath, NY. Diego Multini and Jacob Rightmyer presented their preservation and programming proposal for The Mission House in Friendship, NY. The Southern Tier Architectural Resource (STAR) Center provides free conceptual design services to local non-profit organizations who need assistance getting their projects off the ground. Great job to all the students involved this semester!

Congratulations to all our architecture and design students who took home awards at Honor’s Convocation yesterday!

Proud to see our Architecture & Design students representing Alfred State College at the SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference earlier this week at SUNY Fredonia.

Students shared work from a civic engagement project in the Urban Design studio, award-winning ASC and Design-Build National Competition projects, and a range of thesis research.

Interior Design 2 student presented their design proposals for the Hinkle Memorial Library to library staff today. Projects focused on creating student-driven spaces for individual and group study all guided by effective wayfinding solutions.
