We are incredibly proud to announce that our very own college counselor, Mr. Clarke, was recently named President-Elect of the Potomac & Chesapeake Association of College Admissions Counseling (PCACAC)! 🎓PCACAC is a regional affiliate of the National Association of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), representing professionals dedicated to helping students achieve post-secondary education. This prestigious role places Mr. Clarke at the forefront of college admissions advocacy, making him a key voice in the national conversation on college access and student success.

This position is a testament to the exact dedication that helped our seniors cross the finish line this year, and highlights his standing among his peers across the country. We are so lucky to have his expertise right here on campus! We’ve always known he was a leader—now the whole region knows it too. 🏛️🦁

Science in the fast lane! 🏎️☀️ Our science students took their learning out of the lab and into the sunshine to test their hand-built Solar Racers! 🏁 The task was simple but technical: harness the power of photovoltaics to convert sunlight into electricity, fueling a motor to cross the finish line. ⚡🔋They mastered the physics behind renewable energy. But they didn’t stop at the science—each car was a masterpiece of unique design and personal style. 🎨🏎️ Great job to our young engineers for proving that the future of energy looks (and moves) incredibly cool!

Our Spanish students have been diving into the history of the Castells🏰, a legendary Catalan tradition of building "human towers." They learned how these structures symbolize strength, balance, courage, and common sense. After researching the meaning behind these massive cultural icons, it was time for some further "field research." 🔍 The challenge? Build their own “Cupstellas”🥤 as high as possible! It took incredible teamwork, steady hands, and a lot of focus to recreate these iconic structures. Who knew architecture could be this intense? 🏗️💥
