Let’s get excited for this year’s tjSTAR! This year’s tjSTAR keynote speaker is Dr. Kathleen Ries Merikangas, a distinguished academic working in the field of epidemiology. She is currently the Senior Investigator and Chief of the Genetic Epidemiology Research Branch in the Intramural Research Program at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).
After reviewing survey results from TJ students, our keynote speaker for this year was selected because her work in mental health aligns best with what most TJ students said they wanted to hear and is extremely relevant to our community.
Dr.Kathleen Ries Merikangas is really excited to be tjSTAR’s keynote presenter, and make sure to come to tjSTAR to learn from her!
