It was a beautiful day for our Best Buddies/Unified Sports BBQ! ☀️ From great food to even better company, today was all about inclusion, friendship, and celebrating what brings us together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special. We loved seeing our students connect, laugh, and build lasting memories. ❤️💙

Last night we celebrated our Track & Field seniors and the legacy they leave behind. From early morning practices to late-night meets, their dedication, resilience, and team spirit have set the standard for excellence.

Thank you, seniors, for your leadership and commitment. You’ve made your mark on and off the track. We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎓

Congratulations to seniors Jackson Byrd and Gavin Tilock on their participation in All-State Chorus and Orchestra! Last week in Richmond, they joined some of the Commonwealth’s most talented musicians for several days of learning, growth, and inspiring collaboration. We are incredibly proud of both of you! Edison Guitar Ensemble, Edison Jazz Band, Edison Percussion and many other ensembles were featured on Tuesday evening at the Edison Guitar and Ensemble Concert. Student soloists had their moments to shine, and a good time was had by all! We can’t wait for the Edison Band Spring Concert in May! 🎶🦅

🌍✨ Today, in honor of Earth Day, our students took action through their Global STEM Challenges presentations by leading powerful call-to-action campaigns!

They challenged us all to think about our daily habits and how small changes can make a big impact on our planet 🌱

🚍 Can you take public transportation instead of driving?
💧 Can you switch to reusable water bottles instead of plastic?
🔌 Can you unplug appliances when they’re not in use?
💡 Can you turn off lights and switch to LED bulbs?

Our students reminded us that protecting our oceans starts with protecting our Earth—one choice at a time. Let’s rise to the challenge! 💙🌊
