Congratulations to on another outstanding event this year! We were thrilled to serve as lead sponsor for America’s first and largest student-led high school hackathon with a grant of $15,400, supported by our event Partners Robinhood and Jane Street.

TJPF funds supported all food and beverage for the event, keeping hackers fueled and hydrated for all 26 hours from opening to awards distribution! Congratulations to all of the winners and we’ll see you next year!

The TJ Partnership Fund thanks all of our donors and partners for their Support of TJ’s Educational Mission. Through our Signature Events (HackTJ, Techstravaganza, and tjSTAR), we seek to promote excellence in STEM and inspire the next generation of professionals and thought leaders in STEM areas.

Had a great time at last night’s TJ Alumni Mixer event for Classes of ‘15-‘20 at GMU Fuse Pilot in Arlington! Food, drink, and great conversation with plenty of representation from all of the classes.

After successful events in SF (60+) and NYC (170+), our hope is to continue with more location-based TJ alumni events (comment where!) and NoVa events centered around groups of classes as well as industry-specific networking.

Huge thank you as always to Alumni Engagement Chair ‘17 for putting it all together!

A lovely Day 2 at the NCSS Professional Conference, highlighted by Ms. Elissa Levy’s presentation, “Can Large Language Models Do Physics?”

Ms. Levy showed examples of LLMs like Google Gemini attempting to solve physics word problems and draw pictures of situations involving active motion - as well as its successes and failures.

By participating in conferences like this and sharing best practices with STEM school leaders, TJ teachers have a concrete impact on STEM education across America. The TJ Partnership Fund is proud to support that impact through our annual Professional Development Grant.
