Join us for the groundbreaking of the new LSUA Health Education Campus at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30.

This $43 million project is designed to help meet one of central Louisiana’s most critical employment needs, allowing LSUA to double the number of nurses and allied health professionals graduating into the local healthcare workforce each year.

Congratulations to Julia Rodrigues Souza the 2026 Better Business Bureau Torch Award Scholarship Recipient.

LSU System President Wade Rousse has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Beard, Ph.D., as the next Chancellor of Louisiana State University of Alexandria, following a national search to identify the university’s new leader.

Beard currently serves as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at LSUA and brings more than two decades of leadership experience in higher education.

The LSUA community looks forward to her leadership as the university continues its growth and commitment to student success.
