We may have been winding down into fall break, but the learning never stops! 4th grade students started a book club this week and decided to take it outside to our beautiful courtyard to enjoy the beautiful weather! What could be better than good weather and a good book! ☀️📖📖

5th grade science has been having a lot of fun lately! Last week they used their knowledge of forces to design and test pumpkin catapults!

🔊🔊Welcome to our house! 🩷💜💚♥️💙💛 We had a fantastic first quarter house pep rally and winning house party! Let's hear it for 🩷🩷Team Humility🩷🩷 for winning our first quarter!!

Remember we can earn points everywhere in the school for showing LEAD behaviors and we can't wait to see who will be celebrated in the second quarter!

We’re celebrating the rich culture, music and contributions of Hispanic Heritage throughout our school. Our morning announcements have featured inspiring quotes from Hispanic individuals who have influenced and shaped our country. Mrs. Kessinger has also brought Hispanic culture to life through music, including El Bodeguero and Los Machetos (featured in this video). Students have also learned about the legendary Musician Tito Puente.

We are so thankful for Ms. Torres! She wears a number of different hats - interventionist, teacher support, House Pep Rally planner and so much more!

📢📢📢 We want to give a HUGE shout out to our very own Coach Johnson today on National Coaches Day! 🏀🏈⚽️🏐🏓🎳🏸🏒🎾🥎

We asked a few teachers about the effect Coach Johnson has on our campus and here’s what they had to say…

“…he connects so well with students.”
“…he’s determined to learn all 650 names!”
“…he’s always friendly!”
“…he’s intentional in his classes.”

We are so lucky, Coach Johnson, that you’re here at Annetta! 🧡
