Ms. Barbara Bryant taught us all about burgers today in honor of National Cheeseburger Day on September 18th. We learned where they originated, about different cows, how to make and cook them, and then enjoyed eating! 🍔

👕 We have some exciting news 👕
One of our talented students designed a life skills shirt for our program! It depicts skills we do in class: laundry, cooking, reading, and playing basketball. The shirts are available for purchase! Proceeds will go towards the class. Adult and Youth sizes available with 2 color options on Jenny's site. Thank you for collaborating with us, Jenny King!

We have taken on a new job this school year. We are washing and folding PreK blankets once a week for our 2 full day PreK programs next door!

Twice a month we do yoga and breathing lessons with Mrs. Thomson. It helps us learn self regulation, stress relief, calming strategies, strength building, etc. Thank you for your social work sessions!

I added a new time in our schedule this school year to work on fine motor. We work with different tools, measuring, writing, cutting, tracing, etc.

We went shopping at Walmart for our classroom and snack cart. Each student had their own list and cart to shop! Thank you to our local store, Mr. Corey, Mrs. Ruggles, and Mrs. Thomson!
