IACURH Regional Leadership Conference

Hey heroes! Here are the statues that you're supposed to find around campus! A message on guidebook will be sent out explaining the activity!

Hey IACURH! During conference we'll be awarding something called Valor Points. More information about Valor Points will be posted later, but think about it as a way to track your heroic feats, with a certain prize at the end for the school with the most Valor Points :)

This coming week each university will have a chance to earn said Valor Points! Each day will have a corresponding hero (Captain Marvel Monday, Teen Titan Tuesday, Wonder Woman Wednesday, Thor Thursday, and Fantastic Four Friday).

The challenge is to gather delegates of your institution and take a photo that captures the essence of that day's respective hero or team! For example, on Teen Titan Tuesday, try taking a photo that shows off the friendship and teamwork between your delegates! Post it on Instagram or Facebook with the tag and include the name of your institution in the caption. One Valor Point will be awarded to each school for each day's photo, resulting in a max of five Valor Points!

Hey IACURH! Tomorrow is the last day of normal registration. Late registration opens October 6th and goes until October 9th, but why not register today? Can't wait to see y'all in 28 days!

Be sure to check your emails and fill out the conference evaluation by December 3rd!

Good morning Monkeys! Last day of conference and that means last day of spirit challenges! Today, one of the social media challenges is to find “The center of the of the universe” on our campus! And that’s not as philosophical as it sounds. This is in fact an actual place on UNM main campus. The Chairs have been instructed to not give away the location but to only give you hints. Find the center of the universe, snap a photo and post it on Instagram with the . All participants will get 3 spirit points. Because I believe social media captions are an unsung lost artform, an extra 2 points will be awarded for the best caption! And ALL SPIRIT CHALLANGES WILL END at 3:15 pm! So get on those challenges! Have a great last day of conference!

Good Morning IACURH! SUPRISE SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLEGE TIME. Todays suprise spirit challenge encourages you to make some mew friends! Get ONE picture with AT LEAST 5 delegates EACH from A DIFFERENT School plus you. Post it on Instagram with the and include your new friends’ name names and schools in the caption. And one picture can count for everyone on the picture. ALSO make sure with this and any ongoing challenges involving posting on Instagram with a designated hashtag that you also include your SCHOOLS NAME in the caption. Otherwise I can’t give you points! Last thing, the tiny spirit animal will all be hidden by the time the first programming session starts! SEE YOU ALL AT ROLL CALL.
