THE MAS GRADUATE PROFILE IS HERE! What should every student be prepared to carry into the world after graduation? Here at Mission Achievement and Success Charter School (MAS), we’ve answered that question with the release of our MAS Graduate Profile, a one-page infographic that defines the knowledge, skills, habits, and mindsets students develop throughout their educational journey.

Built with input from educators, families, community leaders, and college and career readiness experts, our Graduate Profile outlines five qualities we believe help students thrive long after they leave the classroom:

1. Mindfully Resilient
2. Collegiately Prepared
3. Curiously Collaborative
4. Globally Attuned
5. Culturally Inclusive

As shared in our latest blog post (see link below), months of work aligned with New Mexico Public Education Department guidance have resulted in the infographic and more. Our Graduate Profile serves as a shared vision for student success, connecting academics, social-emotional growth, college readiness, cultural identity, and community engagement into one clear framework.

Please consider reading the full story using the link below and see how the Graduate Profile will help guide the MAS experience for years to come.

WAFFLEY PROUD! Our future 5th graders were honored at the end of the school year with a fun and meaningful “Waffley Proud of Our 4th Graders” celebration. Their morning began at each Mission Achievement and Success Charter School campus with a special brunch, where students enjoyed a well-earned treat after a year of hard work, academic progress, behavioral success, and personal growth. MAS families helped make each celebration possible by donating waffles, syrup, whipped cream, fruit, juice, and other items.

After brunch, some of the students took part in a hallway celebration through their elementary campus. Staff and classmates lined the halls to cheer them on with encouragement and high-fives, recognizing the courage, leadership, and positive example our 4th graders showed throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

This celebration gave us a chance to honor how much our students have grown at each campus, the leadership they’ve shown in classrooms and hallways, and the many ways they’ve contributed to our school community. Thank you to our 4th grade families for helping make this event so special. We are “waffley” proud of our 4th graders and excited to see all they continue to accomplish!

MAS STUDENTS HONOR JACKIE ROBINSON THROUGH ART AND WRITING AT ISOTOPES PARK: Before Major League Baseball great Jackie Robinson wore No. 42, the line he crossed had already been drawn by others. Mission Achievement and Success Charter School students and their families know what barriers can look like, and like Robinson, they do not allow them to decide what comes next.

Through the Jackie Robinson Night Art and Essay Project, sponsored by the Albuquerque Isotopes on Wednesday, April 15, students across the Duke City used art and writing to study a man who refused to let the world define what he could become.

Here are a few of their creations. For a complete writeup about the event, see our latest blog post using the link below:
