APS is offering a variety of K-12 programs this summer, including our summer STEAM program! If you are interested in enrolling your child and learning more about our programs, join us at one of our upcoming events:

-March 7, 4-7 p.m. at Berna Facio Professional Development Complex, 3315 Louisiana Blvd. NE

This month in the library, the Author and Illustrator study focused on the Crayon Series by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers. Students used AVID planning strategies to create their own crayon character. The students then practiced letter writing strategies that they saw in the read alouds. Once everyone was finished the work was collected and Mr. Romero created a book that was gifted to their teacher. 📚📖📝
