Small surprises in the Archives! Here we have The Throne of David published in 1860 with some pressed leaves as well! There's always a surprise to be found in literature!
The Clark Field Archive & Library (CFAL) is jointly operated by the Maxwell Museum, and UNM Department of Anthropology.
CFAL collections encompass about 10,000 books and over 225 journal titles. It also houses a complete collection of Ph.D. dissertations and selected masters theses from the Anthropology Department, a map collection, and an extensive collection of reprints. All these materials deal with anthropological subjects and serve the entire UNM anthropology community, including the Maxwell Museum, the Anthropology Department, and the Office of Contract Archaeology.

Hello! I apologize that the newsfeed has been dark for a while, but there is an update! We are in the process of hiring a new work study librarian! During this time the CFAL will remain on an "on call" basis. HOWEVER! I (Amelia) will be at the Osteology lab on Wednesdays and Fridays 1pm-4pm. If there is a book you need to check out, or if you need a study space, please knock on the white doors across from the archive and I will help you out! I can also find a time that works for you if you email me at [email protected]. Thanks for your patience, everyone!!
Hi everyone! The CFAL will be open this summer on an appointment basis. If you need to checkout a book or crave quiet study time, (those darn summer courses we all need), please book an appointment at this URL here: http://clarkfieldarchive.setmore.com. The appointment page should be relatively simple to navigate. This helps me keep track of everyone's needs a bit easier. Please provide your book title/ author/ call number in the comments section when you create and appointment. If you are at your wits end with the page, email me at [email protected] and we'll sort it out. Thanks! --Amelia :]
