DET 510 Cadets attended the National Character & Leadership Symposium, gaining insight from leaders who challenge us to grow in character and leadership!

Boots on the ground and leadership in action 🥾✈️. At Detachment 510 we had our first AMT of many. Cadets sharpened their marching skills with confidence around campus. Cadets also took on the challenge of doing GLPs(Group Learning Problem)to encourage them to think, lead and perform under pressure.

LLAB 3 ✅Another successful LLab of the semester. Our Basic Cadet Leaders (BCLs) had the opportunity to practice road guard procedures and further develop their skills through LRC training. Meanwhile, our Basic Cadets (BCs) focused on drill and marching across campus, putting their skills into action. They also received hands-on instruction in properly folding and raising the flags for reveille and retreat procedures.

At Det 510, we kicked off the semester strong. Cadets got the opportunity to met their new flight and wingmen. Basic Cadet Leader Squadron took their marching skills into practice while the Basic Cadet Squadron had briefings introducing them to Det 510.🙌🏼

LLAB 1⃣ of Spring 2026, marks a meaningful milestone for our senior cadets as they prepare for their last, first LLAB of their AFROTC journey. Four years ago, these cadets walked into Detachment 510 as students with potential. Today, they stand as leaders who have shaped this detachment through dedication, resilience, and selfless service. While they are beginning to prepare for their next chapter they are not gone yet, and their mentorship, and leadership continues to be seen in our detachment. We are grateful for our senior cadets and all the hard work they have poured into this detachments.
We can’t wait to see them commission this spring!
