More than 400 UNM medical students will receive tuition support during the 2026–2027 academic year through a one-time $5 million appropriation from the State of New Mexico.

Two big updates from the UNM School of Medicine. 👏

A $5 million state appropriation will help cover tuition for MD students, and the school has earned the maximum eight-year accreditation term available from the LCME.
