Love this moisture test.
For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting my youngest son Chance, let me tell you a little about him. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP.
He is the most kind-hearted, loving and hilarious 17 year old kid you will ever meet. He is the kind of person that always is there and willing to help no matter what. He has always been the first one to make friends with new kids at school. On October 21st, after Homecoming, Chance suffered a horrible accident that resulted in him breaking his neck. Chance has been in ICU since that day and has h

This is the fastest mode of getting around at the arenacross in Clovis. Leave it to these guy's!
It's a sad "mom" day, chance went back down to NMSU to start his 2nd semester. It was so nice having him home so I could make sure all of his needs were met. Now back down to practice independence. I have to admit, when he got home he was so much stronger and independent. I guess that's what we send our kids to college for. I know someday he will be an amazing child trauma counselor. God has big plans for him! You go son! You can't make us any more prouder then we already are.

This foundation is raising money for spinal research. Already a team from Poland has performed surgeries on a quadriplegic who is now walking. I contacted this group about getting chance into the research group but this is the money side. Still looking for the Polish doctors contact info.

Chance is home for the holidays after completing his first semester at NMSU. He lives in a dorm by himself but has an agency that comes in twice a day to help. WAY TO GO SON! I AM SO PROUD OF YOUR PERSEVERANCE.

Change was attempting to qualify for the Special Olympics shooting team last year at Calibers. We didn't qualify but he shot some high point groupings. Thanks to Dustin at Global Opportunities for setting it up!

He was so excited when we went back to Craig for his re-evaluation this summer that he was able to drive the traxx. It is a must have.
What a difference a year makes! Chance is preparing to graduate from high school next month. We are working on our application for NMSU. We haven't heard yet whether or not he has been accepted, lots of hoops to jump through. Chance's FFA team just got home from the STATE competition, he competed in the Horticulture competition. I am so proud of what he has become and what he has accomplished this year. Hopefully we will know soon if he will be an AGGIE!
I have not been able to return to work yet, I feel like I am on call for the school 6 hrs a day, then with summer quickly approaching I don't know how practical that is going to be with him home all day. So with all the medical bills piling up and only one income it is very difficult. Therefore, we can't afford to pay for a ramp so any and all information about how to get one through an agency would be greatly appreciated.
