Books Alive! 2012

Pajama Day is Thursday 12/15. Wear your PJ's to school and we'll have some Polar Express fun

Christmas Program will be Tuesday 12/13. Students need to meet in our classroom at 6:30 dressed in their SUNDAY BEST. The program will begin at 7:00, cookies and punch will be served immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.

Meet the Teacher at KUCI for Mrs. Willingham's class will be Tuesday August 30 from 10:30-11:30

Harvest Festival next week! Our class will go on Thursday 10/28 from 9:30 to 10:30. The kids may dress up as anything you'd see on a farm.

Individual student pictures tomorrow (10/5).
Farm to You (Petting Zoo Animals) on Thursday 10/7.
I moved the Parent-Teacher Conferences from Thursday 10/14 to this week on 10/7.

Made a class book this week, "Our ABC Farm Book". The kids' illustrations were ADORABLE! Soaked an egg in vinegar to make a rubber egg (the acid in the vinegar "eats" the calcium on the egg shell leaving only the membrane). Did our first estimating activity. I was so please at how well they all did.

The class now refers to me as "Ms. Heather", Ms. Shanna renamed me this year.
We enflated a balloon in science on Thursday using vinegar and baking soda to create carbon dioxide gas. The class loved it!

Mrs. Willingham's PreK Class KUCI is now up and running! I now ave official "digital citizenship"
