Calendula - A Powerhouse Herb

Related to the marigold and given the common name of pot marigold, this flower and herb is much more beneficial than its cousin the marigold.

This cornerstone of herbalism can be used to soothe skin, soothe irrigated bowels by way of tea, can be used as a hair wash to strengthen and condition hair and soothe scalp, it’s makes an excellent dye, and even be used as an eye wash/rinse to soothe irritated eyes.

Our company uses calendula as a buffer botanical in our topical magnesium to help protect against rare reactions to absorbing lots of magnesium through the skin. We also use it in our skin soothe and tattoo balms bc of its any inflammatory and anti microbial benefits.

This beautiful flower is one of the best herbs for soothing irritation and promoting healing of the skin.
