Last week, our students showcased their Force & Motion projects at our schoolwide PBL showcase! Families and community partners came together to celebrate hands-on learning and student creativity. It was an incredible day of connection, curiosity, and community collaboration.

Last Friday, Lavaland Elementary’s Esports team competed at the NMAA State Esports Finals! Our students showed incredible teamwork, focus, and sportsmanship as they represented our school. We’re so proud of their hard work and dedication! Go, Lavaland!

🎈🎉 What an incredible morning at Lavaland Elementary! After last week’s balloon no-show, we’re thrilled to share that thanks to one of our amazing parents, we got a special visit from a hot air balloon today! Families gathered early, excitement filled the air, and the kids were overjoyed watching the balloon up close. It was such a magical experience for everyone, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support of our school community! 💙

🚀 Exciting news from Lavaland Elementary! 🌟 Our 5th graders had an amazing time at the DOD Starbase program! They explored hands-on STEM activities, learned about science, technology, engineering, and math, and even got a taste of space and aviation! 🛩️🌌

We're so proud of our students for embracing this unique learning opportunity and can't wait to see how they'll apply their new skills!

🎓🎉 This past Tuesday, we celebrated a momentous occasion at Lavaland Elementary – our 5th grade promotion ceremony! This was our first in-person promotion since before the pandemic, making it even more special. Congratulations to all of our amazing students who are moving up to middle school. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication. Best of luck on your next big adventure! 🌟📚

🎉 Yesterday was Play Day at Lavaland Elementary School, and it was an absolute blast! Our students had a ton of fun with the parachute, relay races, volleyball, hula huts, co****le, water events like bucket brigade, drip drip drop, and water balloon toss, and even got to watch some of their teachers in an inflatable costume race! The highlight of the day? Dunking our principals, with a kindergartner surprising us all by dunking the principal on his first try! 😆 Thank you to everyone who made this day unforgettable. We can't wait for next year! 🏅🌟
