So excited to be a part of JAI Yoga's grand opening! Thank you Meg Allen for inviting me! I look forward to seeing you all there!
Jyoti is pleased to debut Earth Tribe Henna at the grand opening of JAI Yoga Studio in Albany. Stop in to check out the new space, take a class, and stay for some henna body decor (by donation). I'll be there 1:30-4pm-ish. Send me a PM if you would like to reserve a slot.
I have created a new FB page for my mehndi (henna) art and have given it a name that resonates with me on a deeper level. I would love you all to check it out and if you enjoy my work, please like and share!

Turn inward ... finding the peaceful and sacred within :)
Sacred Space : Jo Edmondson - teach.yoga When my world has crashed and I can’t breathe, I tune in. I feel the pain fully. The disappointment runs through my veins. The sadness suffocates my cells. I create the sacred space here. My heart beating, my internal altar. A flame that never dies out, where I come to surrender, to dissolve. Can I…

Sometimes we don't always know what we need. Or we confuse the signals our body is sending us. After a night of very little sleep and a long day, my body and mind were exhausted. But I opted for a 90 minute vinyasa anyways... because everybody's tired after work, right? But after the first 5-10 minutes you're always glad you went ... unfortunately last night this was not the case and the exertion started to leave me drained and light headed. I eased up on the practice, almost left mid class actually! And was determined to find a lesson in the experience. And the lesson is sometimes you mis-read the signs your body is giving you, confusing what it is you really need. And that's it. And it's okay. A little extra sleep last night and some TLC, and today, back on track :)
