Another great meeting! Missed those who couldn't be there. Excited to see what all we can do this next year. Lots of plans being made. Our next meeting will be our celebration dinner, continuing our patriotic theme, at Marina Rowena on September 1. We will meet at the Extension Office at 4:30 to carpool.

This is your reminder that the Clinton County Homemakers will meet on Tuesday August 11, at 5:00. This is the beginning of a new year so a great time to join us, or invite new friends to become members! We may be without an agent at the moment but still making lots of plans! Hoping to learn some new things and make a difference in the community! Hope to see you there!

Gay Latham presented money she collected from the Clinton County Homemakers Club for June's recipient of "Be the Blessing," Healthcare Workers Fighting For A Cure. She is shown here presenting the donation to WANY's Jingle.

This month, WANY has teamed up with Kelly Latham - RE/MAX Country Living to Be the Blessing to this wonderful group. Items needed are hard candies, sugar candies, chapstick, lotion with aloe, food and/or gas cards, scarves, chemo hats or decorative head coverings.

Items can be dropped off at WANY. THANK YOU in advance! Remember, a small donation can go a long way!

What a beautiful way to wrap up a fantastic Homemaker year, with some of the best friends you'll ever find, in one of the most beautiful places around. We decided to have our last meeting at Marina Rowena and had such a good time. Lots of fun things in the planning for next year which begins in August.

Want to remind Homemakers of our year-end celebration coming up on Tuesday, June 2 at 5:30 at Rowena Marina. Those who want to carpool should meet at the Extension Office at 5:00. Don't forget to wear your flag shirts for pictures! Come prepared to have a good time! Each member will pay for their own meal.

Cumberland County hosted the Lake Cumberland Area Homemakers today for our annual meeting. Clinton County won the prize for largest percentage of members present. Thanks to Greg Amy Claborn and Phyllis Lee we had many compliments on our shirts. Our name tags lost to Taylor County but at least we sparkled! Linda Graham won a beautiful door prize and each member went home with a flag.

What a wonderful group of ladies! I am so honored to be a part of the Clinton County Homemakers! We met earlier in the month and spent our time assembling Critical Care Bags for our local hospital Emergency Room. These will be given to families of Critical patients who are being transferred or are stuck there without any way of getting personal essentials or snacks.
