Sound healing is more than a beautiful experience. Although it absolutely is that too.

Here's what's actually happening when you lie down in a sound bath.

Sound travels through the body as vibration. Every cell, every organ, every inch of you receives it. When you're surrounded by singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments, those frequencies aren't just something you hear... they're something you feel at a physical level. Research has shown that sound can shift brainwave states, moving you from the busy beta waves of everyday thinking into the slower alpha and theta states associated with deep rest, creativity, and meditation.

In other words, your brain gets to slow down in a way that is very hard to access on your own.

People experience sound healing differently. Some notice a deep heaviness in the body, like finally being able to put something down. Some feel tingling or warmth moving through them. Some cry without knowing why, not from sadness, just from release. Some fall into the most restful sleep they've had in months. Some leave with a clarity they couldn't find before they came in.

What I've witnessed over and over is that sound does something for the nervous system that most of us are desperately craving... it signals safety. It tells your body it's okay to stop bracing. And when your body actually believes that, even for an hour, something shifts.

This is why I offer sound healing every single week. Not as a luxury. As a necessity.

You can experience this at two upcoming events...

Five tickets left. That's it.

I don't say this to pressure you. I say it because I genuinely don't want you to be the person who meant to come and missed it.

August 17th is going to be one of the most unique evenings we've created yet. Jennifer Jean of Root and Rise Breathwork and I didn't just put two modalities in the same room. We sat down together and built something intentional β€” five specific breathing techniques paired in real time with live instruments as I play. The breath and the sound working together, not just side by side.

On the water. Under the summer sky. With only five spots left.

πŸ“… Monday August 17 | 7:30 PM
πŸ“ Albany Golf & Event Center
πŸ’› $66
All levels welcome.

You have been waiting long enough.

Not for permission. Not for the perfect time. Just waiting for the version of yourself that feels like coming home instead of running on empty.

Journey to the Heart is opening 3 new spaces for a September start. This is 1:1, three months of deep work together.

Over three months, we move through creating safety and releasing what's been stored in the body, going to the root of the patterns keeping you stuck, and integrating who you are becoming so it actually lasts. Sessions are tailored to exactly what you need, not a one-size-fits-all program.

If you know you're ready, comment "HEART" below or send me a DM and I'll get you the details to reserve your space with a $500 deposit that goes directly toward your investment.

You've spent long enough holding everyone else together. This is where you finally come first.

Only 3 spaces for September. Once they're filled, this start date is closed.

Lately I've been thinking about faith.

Not the hard work. Not the hustle. Not the showing up every day and grinding through it. Those things matter, and there has been plenty of all of it. But lately what keeps coming up for me is faith.

Because here's the truth about building something...

Unshakable, nobody-can-see-it, doesn't-make-logical-sense faith. Faith in myself. Faith in my purpose. Faith that the work I'm putting into this world matters even when nothing on the outside was confirming that yet.

There were seasons that looked like nothing. Where every signal was telling me to close the door on this chapter and move on. And I just... didn't. Not because I was hustling harder. Because I believed.

I think a lot of us have been told that the key to building something is to outwork everyone else. And maybe sometimes that's true. But I think what actually fills the gap between where you are and where you know you're going is faith.

If you are in a quiet season right now, if things feel still and you're questioning whether any of it is working... I want you to know the quiet is not the absence of progress. Sometimes it's exactly where the most important growth is happening.

Keep the faith. 🀍

I lost years of my life just racing through it. Surviving it.

Not because anything was technically wrong. I was functioning. I was showing up. From the outside I probably looked like someone who had it together. But inside I was drowning in chronic stress, running on external validation, needing people to tell me I was doing a good job so I could feel like I was enough for five minutes.

I didn't know what I liked anymore. I didn't know what brought me joy. I was so deep in survival mode, so caught up in the busyness and the doing and the constant motion, that I was wishing time with my kids would go faster just so I could get to the next thing on the list.

I have to sit with that sometimes. The weight of it.

Because now I have two sons who have just graduated. Two of them walking out of my house and into their own lives. And one starting high school this fall, which means I have four years left with him under my roof and I know from experience how fast four years goes.

The only thing I can do now is be present for every moment of it. And what I've learned is that presence doesn't just happen. You have to go inward to get there. You have to heal the things that are keeping you in your head and out of your body, out of your life. You have to reconnect with the parts of yourself that got buried somewhere along the way, often that means going back to your inner child, back to the last place you remember feeling genuine joy, and finding your way back to her.

When I am truly present, time slows down. I actually feel my life instead of racing through it. That is not a small thing. That is everything.

And that is why I do this work with the urgency that I do.

It doesn't matter if you're in your 20s or your 40s or your 60s. It is never too late. But I also know from living it that every year you spend racing through life, surviving instead of living, is a year you don't get back. And I don't want that for you.

You deserve to actually be here for your own life. 🀍

We were on the last basket of disc golf on Saturday when someone asked me what I do for work.

In the pause before I answered ... and it was maybe two seconds, he probably didn't even notice it ... two very specific thoughts moved through my mind.

I don't matter. My work doesn't matter.

I've heard those thoughts before. They're not new. But what was different this time is that I caught them in real time. Right there on the disc golf course, mid-pause, I saw exactly what was happening and I knew precisely where it was coming from.

I told him I do healing work. He got curious. We had a genuinely beautiful conversation about it.

But the next day I sat with that two second pause. Not with shame, just with curiosity. Because here's what I've learned about doing this work...

The patterns don't disappear. They come back. In new moments, wearing new clothes, at a different disc golf basket. But when you've done the work, you start to catch them so much faster. Instead of letting that story run the whole conversation, or the whole day, or the whole week, you see it and you go... oh. There you are again.

And then you come back. Faster than before.

That two second pause used to be a two day spiral. The fact that I could name it, feel it, and keep moving is not a sign that I haven't healed enough. It's actually evidence of how far I've come.

This is what healing in layers actually looks like. Not a finish line. A returning. Each time with a little more awareness than the last.

If you're doing the work and you're frustrated that the old patterns still show up... they will. But watch how quickly you come back. That's where your growth lives. 🀍

We are so good at taking care of our outer shell.

Hair appointments. Skincare routines. Nails. The gym. We show up for all of it consistently, without question, because we understand that maintenance is how you see results over time.

But when it comes to our inner world... most of us wait until something breaks.

We schedule a Reiki session when we're overwhelmed, when life gets loud, when we've hit a wall. And it helps. It always helps. But one session here and one session there is a little like going to the gym once every few months and wondering why you don't feel stronger.

The magic of energy work is in the consistency.

The clients I've watched experience the most profound shifts are the ones who show up regularly. Once a month at minimum. Twice a month for deeper work. Not because each session is dramatic, but because the shifts are subtle and they compound over time. One layer releases, then another, then another. And then one day they look back and realize they are not the same person they were six months ago. The pattern that used to run their life just... doesn't anymore.

That's the rearview mirror moment. And it's one of my favorite things to witness.

If you've been receiving Reiki sporadically and wondering why the results feel inconsistent, this is probably why. Your inner world deserves the same commitment you give everything else.

At minimum, I'd love to see you on my table once a month. And if you're ready to go even deeper... Journey to the Heart is my 3 and 6 month container where we do this work consistently, intentionally, and with so much more support woven around you. It's where the real, lasting change happens.

Your outer shell is taken care of. It's time to give the same love to what lives inside. 🀍

There are things that happen after a Reiki session that nobody warned me about.

Not promises. Not guarantees. Just things I've watched happen that I cannot always fully explain... and that I think you deserve to know are possible.

People have walked out feeling lighter than they have in months. Not because anything was dramatically different in their life, but because something shifted inside of them. The weight they had been carrying just... wasn't as heavy anymore.

I've watched relationships change. Not because the other person changed, but because they did. They started responding instead of reacting. Seeing people in their life with a clarity and understanding they didn't have before. And that shift quietly changed everything around them.

I've seen opportunities open that people had been waiting on for a long time. Doors that felt stuck suddenly moving. I can't tell you exactly why. I just know I've watched it happen.

I've witnessed people process emotions they had been carrying for years... grief, anger, sadness that had no place to go. After a session it finally had somewhere to move.

And I've seen things I genuinely cannot explain. Things that happened in the days after a session that made no logical sense on paper. Things that stopped me and reminded me how powerful this work really is.

I share this not to make you a promise, but because the possibilities of energy healing are so much bigger than most people realize... and I don't want fear of overpromising to stop me from telling you the truth about what I've seen.

Every person's experience is their own. Reiki is not a substitute for medical care and outcomes vary. What I can promise is that I will show up fully and hold the most intentional, loving space I know how to hold.

The rest... I'll let the work speak for itself. 🀍
