From Data to Decisions: Empowering BBSHRRDB Officers through Power BI
Sara Learning Global (SLG), in collaboration with the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research & Development Board (BBSHRRDB), successfully concluded an engaging three-day Power BI training program.
The training brought together more than 25 Government of Sindh officers in BPS-17 and above, representing multiple offices and departments of BBSHRRDB. This diverse participation created a valuable platform for cross-departmental learning, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.
Facilitated by Muhammad Aliyan Hasan Qureshi, IBM Certified Data Scientist, and Frederick Anaafi, Microsoft Certified Trainer, the program guided participants from the fundamentals of data analysis and Power BI to data visualization, reporting, LMS-based learning, and live dashboard development.
Through practical exercises and interactive discussions, participants explored how raw data can be transformed into meaningful insights to improve monitoring, reporting, operational efficiency, and evidence-based decision-making across their respective departments.
This initiative represents another meaningful step under the SLG-BBSHRRDB MoU towards strengthening digital capabilities, promoting data-driven governance, and building a future-ready public-sector workforce.
We sincerely appreciate the BBSHRRDB leadership and all participating officers for their enthusiasm, active engagement, and commitment throughout the three-day learning journey.

Day 4 Study Visit | Agriculture Machinery Operator (Level III)
Learning moved beyond the classroom on Day 4 as participants of the Training of Trainers on Agriculture Machinery Operator (Level III) visited The University of Agriculture, Peshawar.
Hosted by the Department of Agricultural Mechanization and Renewable Energy Technologies, the visit gave trainees valuable exposure to agricultural machinery systems, engine models and field equipment in a practical learning environment.
At the department’s Engine Model Laboratory, participants explored the tractor differential system and EFI diesel engine models, helping them connect technical concepts with the actual functioning of modern tractors and diesel engines.
The visit then continued to the machinery centre and field area, where participants observed a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment, including tillage and land-preparation implements, planting equipment, sprayers, fertiliser and chemical broadcasters, threshers, elevators, seed cleaners, grain-storage units, tractors and their attachments.
This practical exposure helped participants understand how machinery supports different stages of agricultural production from land preparation and planting to crop-input application, harvesting, post-harvest handling and storage.
More importantly, the study visit enabled the participating TVET trainers to reflect on how field demonstrations, machinery inspection and real equipment exposure can make their own training delivery more practical, engaging and industry-relevant.
The visit was organised as part of the Trade-Based Capacity Building of TVET Trainers in the Agribusiness Sector project, implemented by Sara Learning Global in partnership with GIZ.
