Clean out those closets and support our AES Safety Patrol! From August 31–September 11, we’re collecting adult and children’s shoes of all types.

📍 Drop off donations at Alachua Elementary
💚 Funds raised will support our Safety Patrol’s Washington, D.C. trip!

Learning and collaboration happen everywhere at AES—even in PE! Today, Coach White had students working in teams of two to toss and catch a ball using a parachute. Success required students to communicate, coordinate, problem-solve, and work together toward a shared goal.

✨🐊 There’s always something exciting happening in our Specials classes at AES! 🐊✨

Our Alligators have been learning, creating, moving, and exploring in STEAM, Art, PE, Music, and Media! 💚

🔧 STEAM: Students are reviewing what STEAM means and putting their creativity and problem-solving skills to work with fun LEGO building challenges!

🎨 Art: Students are creating colorful and creative works of art while exploring their artistic side.

🏃 PE: Students are learning about the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork while staying active.

🎶 Music: Students are making music in all kinds of ways with body percussion, chants, noodle sticks, and more!

📚 Media: Students are learning their way around the library and practicing how to find fiction books using call numbers.

We love seeing our Alligators learning, creating, collaborating, and having fun in Specials! 💚🐊✨

A huge thank you to Dollar General Corporation and their local warehouse for their incredibly generous donation of backpacks and school supplies to Alachua Elementary! Your support is helping make sure our Alligators have the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn. 🐊📚✏️

Families who are in need of back-to-school supplies are encouraged to stop by the front office. We’re happy to share these donations and help make sure our students are ready for a successful school year!

Grab the family and join us at Skate Station Funworks on Friday, August 28, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. for an evening of fun, games, and school spirit!

There will be plenty of activities to enjoy, including roller skating, rock climbing, mini golf, soft play, Jumpworks, and go-karts! 🎳⛳️🛼

💚 Even better—part of every admission comes back to Alachua Elementary!
