We are always open to conversations with people about rope and prospective students.
1. We take our rope and time seriously, just like we will value your time in committing to learning rope with us, if you so choose. Which is why we charge for our classes/time. See below.
2. Due to the nature of his medical condition, at any given moment, we may have to adjust the timing of and/or cancel our plans altogether, and reschedule. Sometimes keeping him alive is a battle we have little control over.
3. Unless you only want to learn self-ties - which is fine and we do teach those - you will need to find a willing victi.. I mean partner/bottom/bunny, yeah that's it... not a victim… at all lol
4. Prior to coming into our home, we will need to meet up somewhere out in public. Sometimes more than once until a person passes the vibe check. This applies to both the rigger and bottom, so usually it is better if you have a partner from day one.
The easiest place/time to do that is our local monthly munch. Health conditions aside, we can plan to attend if we have prospective students to meet & vet. January is already on the calendar. If you're unable to make it to a munch, we can meet at the same location on another day and/or time, or make other arrangements, as schedules allow.
5. We are typically not available on Monday or Thursday evenings.
6. We have 6 cats, 2 dogs, and a teenager… those with allergies, beware!
7. You will need your own rope kit. If you do not currently have one, we can discuss recommendations prior to you making a purchase, etc.
Currently, there are three class options:
Monthly group class (typically the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm or so, depending on traffic for everyone)
$10.00 per person - prior vetting required.
Private one - on - one (you and your rope bottom).
$50.00 per 2 hours, with a 4 hour max per day/session.
These classes are taught in our home, so space is very limited. RSVP is required.
Group classes are available in your space/club. Cost is dependent on distance, subject matter, equipment needed to be brought for class, and number of attendees (Max 10 Riggers). Across town, state, or US... There is no vetting required for travel classes, but payment will need to be made prior.
Updated website and scheduling coming soon!
