🔎 WHERE’S MS. SMITHLEY?

Hello, Skyway Families!

As I spend this school year planning, I’m going to do my best to get out into the Airway Heights community on Wednesdays, stopping at different places and at different times so I can connect with as many of you as possible!

Tomorrow, 9/9, I’ll be at Yoke’s from 7:30a.m.–10:30 a.m.! Stop by, say hi, and share your hopes and ideas for Skyway Elementary. You can find me in the bakery area, and there may even be a sweet treat waiting for you! 🍩

Have an idea for where I should stop or a time that would work well for families? Let me know in the comments! 👇

Last Friday, Ms. Smithley and Mr. Gibbs joined the Airway Heights Police Department to hand out popsicles to our Airway Heights community! ☀️🍦

It was a great way to celebrate the end of summer and kick off a new school year!

We wish all Cheney Public Schools students a wonderful first day of school! We’re already looking forward to this time next year, when we’ll be welcoming students through the doors of Skyway Elementary!

Hello, Skyway community!

It’s Ms. Smithley checking in. I recently stopped by Skyway to see the latest construction updates. It’s amazing how much progress can happen in just one week! 🏗️

Here I am in my future office!

Keep an eye on this page for more updates and opportunities to connect with me and Mr. Gibbs, our assistant principal, throughout the school year!

We love seeing the building take shape!

This will be the future home of our gym. A place for learning, celebrations, and connection for our students, families, and the entire Airway Heights community.

What events do you hope to see hosted here?
