MEET THE FELLOWS: Tytiana Simpkins 🍎🎒
Tytiana is joining our Teaching Fellows Family as an Early Childhood Education major. Her nickname is Juliet When asked about why she wants to teach, she said, "I want to teach for students to know that their worth is not in their grades but in themselves as they are as a person. I want to give them a safe place to grow as well as make sure they do understand the importance of school." A fun fact about her is that both her mother and her grandmother are teachers!

MEET THE FELLOWS: Maliyah Campbell🍎💻
Maliyah is joining our Teaching Fellows Family as a Special Education major. When asked about why she wants to teach, she said, I want to teach special education because I want to help students learn that their differences do not define them. My younger brother has a learning disability, and I want to help kids like him know that they are so much more than a diagnosis! I hope to have a classroom where students feel loved, seen, and valued beyond test scores. A fun fact about Maliyah is that she loves One Direction!

MEET THE FELLOWS: Adrianna Ashley ✏📖
Adrianna is joining our Teaching Fellows Family as a Secondary English Education major. When asked about why she wants to teach, she said, “I was diagnosed with ADHD during my sophomore year of high school. I struggled to get a 504 plan and felt that I was dismissed for being “too smart to need accommodations”. I want to be a voice for students with ADHD and adapt to different learning styles. I want students to know that there isn’t anything wrong with them and that they can go just as far as their peers.” A fun fact about Adrianna is that she collects physical media and retro devices. She shared that she currently owns a 3DS XL, pink iPod nano, and a vintage Insignia DVD player. She hopes to start my CD and cassette tape collection in the near future.
