Have you always wanted to volunteer at the World Leadership Congress? If you’ve ever considered volunteering at the HOBY World Leadership Congress, this is the year to apply! With virtual volunteer options and both pre-WLC and during-WLC roles, there are more flexible ways to serve than ever!

The 2021 WLC is expected to be a hybrid event, allowing for ambassadors and volunteers to participate virtually and in-person (if safe and allowable). The dates are July 25-31, with the volunteer commitment beginning the evening of Friday, July 23, and ending the morning of Sunday, August 1.

The HOBY World Leadership Congress is bringing the world 🌍 to you this year!

As a virtual event, 💻 our 2020 Congress will be more accessible than ever before, bringing together the voices, experiences, and passions of ambassadors from around the globe and onto your screen.

If you are a 2019/2020 HOBY alum interested in attending the World Leadership Congress then enroll at the link in our comments section! You can also find answers to most questions that you might have as well! The last day to enroll is July 10th so be sure to apply now before it’s too late!

If you are a 2020 HOBY alum you can also wait to enroll in next year’s World Leadership Congress instead of ths year.

Congratulations to Hannah Moore on receiving our Alumni Association Person of the Year Award! We had many heartfelt nominations and that made it very hard for us to pick who should receive this award but we are very excited that Hannah will be receiving this award! Be sure to read some of the awesome comments left for Hannah that were made by other alumni members! She will be receiving a personalized certificate and we encourage all of you to congratulate her and send her HOBY Hugs as well! Congratulations again Hannah! 😁🥳

Thank you to Natalie Henke for allowing us to showcase her and her service project this week! We are so proud of her and all of our alumni who have completed their service projects to help serve others during COVID. We still encourage all of our alumni to continue their service projects and either tag our page, DM us, or use the when posting your service projects so we can feature them on our social media pages! Way to go HOBY OW Alumni! 😊

Time is running out for those who wish to apply for a social media or regional group leader (RGL) position! We encourage all who are interested to apply, especially those who are considering an RGL position! Encourage your friend to do it too! There’s almost 24 hours left to apply! You can apply by clicking the link found in our comments section!

We need YOU to make the alumni association better! Fill out the application if you are looking to become a Regional Group Leader (RGL) or if you’re interested in helping run our social media pages!* These positions are open to anyone who is interested in improving their leadership skills and are a vital part of the post-HOBY experience. We asked our ambassadors at the 2020 seminar how they could make a difference in others lives despite being more distant that usual. The love and change they brought to their family, friends, and community members was inspiring! We’re asking all of our HOBY Ohio West alumni to let us know how you will brighten someone’s day during COVID-19. Tag us, DM us, or post a picture on your feed or story with and tell us why you love serving and how you’re able to continue making an impact despite the distance. We will be featuring some of our awesome alumni on our social media next week!
