Student Veterans of America are proud to partner with The Mission Continues, a national organization dedicated to connecting veterans through community service. Applications are now open for their fifth cohort of the Women Veterans Leadership Program (WVLP). This five-month program – the only one of its kind – changes the narrative on what it means to be a woman veteran by leveraging their leadership skills and authentic selves to become change-makers, all while enhancing their personal and professional networks.
Women engage in meaningful coursework designed to build the necessary skills to combat challenges all women face in their rise to leadership, as well as those challenges research shows us are unique to women veterans. Additionally, WVLP program members will have opportunities to engage a nationwide network of women leaders and The Mission Continues staff throughout the program and beyond.
Thanks to generous funders, like Raytheon Technologies, all costs associated with travel, lodging and most meals are covered by The Mission Continues. Are you a woman veteran or know one who could benefit from this program? Visit their website to learn more, apply now and join us in building a movement so we can pursue equal opportunities for all women in leadership attainment.
