Coalition for Centralized School Libraries/Abilene, TX Our mission is to support Abilene ISD libraries. CCSL wants every AISD school to have a centralized library and certified librarian.

Abilene now has a Coalition for Centralized School Libraries. (CCSL) Our mission is to support AISD libraries. We are disappointed that the new Johnston Elementary is going to be built without a centralized library. Our goal for the future is that every AISD school should have a centralized library and certified librarian. Our students need a strong reading foundation, which can be achieved through access to a library and librarian on their campuses.
