Now listen… I know times are HARD and these prices have all of us looking at our bank accounts like, “Who bought THAT?” 😂

But here’s the good news…

Kindness is still FREE.
A smile is FREE.
A compliment is FREE.
Checking on somebody is FREE.
Holding the door is FREE.
And making somebody feel seen and appreciated won’t cost you a dime.

😂 Nyla was in charge!

Apparently, Nyla is part of the morning school crew now. 😂🐾🎒

She helped me get the little guy off to school this morning and took her job VERY seriously!

She said, “I don’t know what y’all have going on, but I’m making sure this child gets to school!” 😂😂

Third grade is a family affair around here… and even Nyla has responsibilities! 💙🐶📚

August 19th is Nolan’s birthday. Although he is no longer here with us physically, his life, his memory, and the love we carry for him remain.

On this day, I’m asking everyone who knew Nolan, loved Nolan, or simply believes in the power of prayer to join us in prayer. 💚

Pray for peace, comfort, strength, and healing for everyone who continues to feel his absence. Pray especially for his family and those whose hearts carry him every single day.

We may not always understand God’s plan, but we can trust Him to hold us through the moments that are hardest to understand.

A whole lot has changed… the hair, the fashion, the body, the life experiences… but the SPIRIT? STILL HER. 🔥

62 years young, blessed, grateful, still standing, still smiling, still dreaming, and STILL becoming the woman I was created to be. 💚✨
