Eastern Avenue was packed for the 51st annual Essex Day Festival, with live music, local vendors, community groups, and families enjoying the final Saturday of summer. Shereen Nadeem joined the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce at the event, spending the day meeting attendees and celebrating a tradition that continues to showcase the spirit and pride of Essex.

After winning the Battle of the Bins, we visited the Harford Community Action Agency Food Bank to receive our official award for collecting 1,112 pounds of food. Food insecurity affects many families in our community, and we're grateful to everyone who donated to help support our neighbors in need.

A huge thank you to everyone who opened a qualifying deposit account during our Sit. Stay. Save. campaign! Because of you, we were able to make a meaningful difference for local animals in need.

To mark the end of his reign, Top Dog Remy joined us for one final assignment: presenting a $2,000 donation to The Humane Society of Harford County. Remy was an outstanding bank ambassador, and we were honored to have him represent Sit. Stay. Save. Thank you, Remy, and thank you to everyone who helped make this campaign such a success!
