Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education. FCCLA is the nonprofit Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) education classes in public and private schools through grade 12. The Louisiana State Association of FCCLA has nearly 2,000 members across the state who are making a difference in their families, careers, and communities!

Tuesday: breakout session rotations include presentations from the Jacob Crouch Foundation, our keynote speaker, and a headshot 📸 opportunity for all attendees.

The Louisiana Family, Career and Community Leaders of America State Leadership Conference is going to be in Alexandria on April 13-14, 2026. We are in need of adult volunteers to evaluate our student competitive events. We would love to have FCCLA alumni, stakeholders, school administrators, related business and industry representatives, etc. to see the hard work put in by our students and the incredible skills they are learning through participation in these events.
Here’s the commitment:
Monday, April 13
11:15 AM- 11:45 AM volunteer orientation
12:30 PM-4:30 PM competitive events

Some of our event options include: interior design, focus on children, teach or train, nutrition and wellness, entrepreneurship, sustainability challenge, hospitality and tourism, personal finance, and event management.
